In the same village, visit a family specializing in bamboo basket boat crafting. Note: Activities may vary slightly depending on the availability of host families.

11:30 AM – Arrive at a local home and join the host in preparing lunch using regional ingredients and cooking methods. After enjoying the home-cooked meal, set off on a bicycle ride through scenic villages and rice fields.

1:00 PM Stop at Hung My vegetable garden, where you’ll meet a farming family and learn about their daily routines and eco-friendly agricultural practices. Support the community by buying fresh produce for your dinner later in the day. Along the way, pause for photo opportunities and to chat with locals working in their fields.

2 :00 PM Board a traditional wooden sampan and enjoy a peaceful cruise along the Truong Giang River, guided by your local host. Discover traditional fishing techniques passed down through generations.

4 :00 PM Return to the family home for a shared dinner featuring local delicacies. Enjoy warm hospitality, sample homemade rice wine or beer, and engage in heartfelt conversation with your hosts — with the help of your guide as interpreter.

6 :00 PM End the evening with a special demonstration of how to prepare edible bird’s nest soup, a prized specialty in Vietnamese culture.
