Western Travel: The Southwest region, the country's major rice granary, fruit trees laden with fruit, fields as straight as the stork flies. The people are typical of the South, living bustlingly in the floating markets of Cai Be, Cai Rang, Phung Hiep... The West, a space filled with soulful people and poetic amateur songs.

Schedule

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO – CAN THO (B/L/D)
  • Morning: The bus and tour guide will pick up tourists at the meeting point and depart for My Tho. Arrive at Trung Luong and have breakfast with the famous My Tho noodle soup. Then visit Vinh Trang Pagoda: located on Nguyen Trung Truc Street, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province, Vietnam. This is a famous pagoda in the South, ranked as a national historical and cultural relic, and a famous pilgrimage and tourist destination.

    • Then the group continues to depart for the 30/4 ferry terminal, where a boat will take you to Tan Thach (Ben Tre). A small boat will take tourists to visit:
    • Fruit Garden – Longan Flower Honey Farm: Enjoy Honey And Fruits.
    • The group will have lunch at a restaurant with typical Southern river dishes, and relax freely.
    • The group continues to listen to Southern Amateur Music, a popular art form in the South, visit the Coconut Candy, Banana Candy factory, and buy souvenirs and specialties.
  • Afternoon: The boat will take tourists back to the 30/4 Ferry Terminal. Depart for Can Tho. Arrive in Can Tho and check into the hotel. The bus will take tourists to Ninh Kieu Wharf: The cruise will take guests along the Hau River and enjoy Southern Amateur Music. The group will have dinner on the boat and relax freely at night.
DAY 2: CAN THO - SOC TRANG - BAC LIEU – CA MAU (B/L/D)
  • Morning: The group will wake up early to visit the floating market. The bus will take tourists to Ninh Kieu Wharf to board a boat to visit:

    • Cai Rang Floating Market: one of the three largest floating markets in Can Tho. The unique feature and main characteristic of Cai Rang Floating Market is the specialized trading of fruits and specialties of the Mekong Delta.

    • The bus will take the group back to the hotel for breakfast, check out, and then depart for Soc Trang. Visit famous pagodas in this province such as:

    • Bat Pagoda: also known as Ma Toc Pagoda (or Mahatup Pagoda), is an eye-catching architectural complex and the only pagoda worshiping Buddha Thich Ca of the Khmer ethnic community living in the province. It is called Bat Pagoda because the temple grounds are home to a large number of bats.

    • Clay Pagoda: It is called Clay Pagoda because there are many Buddha statues made of clay in the pagoda, and the pagoda columns are also made of clay. More uniquely, there are 8 candles weighing a total of 1.4 tons.

    • The bus will take the group to a restaurant for lunch, relax freely, and visit.

  • Afternoon: Continue the journey to Ca Mau. The bus will take the group to visit: Tac Say Church: one of the impressive tourist attractions in Bac Lieu province, associated with touching stories about the life of Father Truong Buu Diep, who made great contributions to the Catholic followers in this area. Nowadays, hundreds of followers and tourists visit Tac Say Church every day.

    • The group continues to depart for Ca Mau, check into the hotel, and rest. Have dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Evening: Tourists are free to relax and stay overnight in Ca Mau.

DAY 3: CA MAU – NGOC HIEN – DAT MUI – BAC LIEU (B/L/D)
  • Morning: The group will have breakfast. The bus will take tourists to the pier to board a canoe to visit:

    • Mangrove Forest Base: covering an area of 63,017 hectares, it ranks second in the world, after the Amazon forest in South America. It is concentrated mainly in Ngoc Hien and Nam Can districts. The remaining area is distributed in Dam Doi, Phu Tan, Tran Van Thoi, and U Minh districts. Therefore, it is also known as Nam Can mangrove forest or Ca Mau mangrove forest. Listen to stories about Uncle Ba Phi, a very famous character in the U Minh region with humorous and interesting stories.

    • Continue to Dat Mui (the southernmost region of the country) and take souvenir photos with the symbol that has become legendary for the people of Ca Mau in particular and Vietnamese people in general – the symbol of the ship sailing out to sea. The bus will take the group to have lunch at a restaurant.

  • Afternoon: The group will depart back to Bac Lieu, check into the hotel, and have dinner. Free evening or visit Hung Vuong Square and rest in Bac Lieu.

    • Hung Vuong Square: located in the administrative center of the province, in Ward 1, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu Province, Hung Vuong Square is one of the most beautiful squares in the Mekong Delta region.

DAY 4: BAC LIEU – MY KHANH – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)
  • Morning: The group will have breakfast and check out. Depart for Ho Chi Minh City, stopping to visit:

    • Bac Lieu Prince's House: Located at 13 Dien Bien Phu, Ward 3, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu Province, the house has attracted many tourists with its elegant beauty. With a spacious and harmonious architecture, it is considered the most beautiful corner of Bac Lieu.

    • Cao Van Lau Theater and Bac Lieu Cultural and Art Exhibition Center have the shape of the three largest conical hats in Vietnam, with the roofs facing each other, with a total area of 2,262 m2. The highest height is 24.25 m; the diameter is 45.15 m; the roof is covered with composite.

    • The giant wind turbine field spinning on the sea against the blue sky is an impressive highlight that makes tourists want to backpack to Bac Lieu right in this summer.

    • The group will have lunch with rustic but rich-flavored countryside dishes, relax freely.

  • Afternoon: Continue the journey back to Ho Chi Minh City. The bus will take tourists back to the original pick-up point. End of the program. The tour guide says goodbye and looks forward to seeing you in future programs.
