This carefully curated route connects iconic destinations such as Da Nang – Son Tra Peninsula – Hoi An Ancient Town – Ba Na Hills – the Imperial City of Hue – Phong Nha / Paradise Cave, offering a comprehensive panorama of UNESCO World Heritage sites along with the region’s rich local culture.

Schedule
Day 01: DA NANG – SON TRA (MONKEY MOUNTAIN) – HOI AN (L/D)
Morning:
Arrival in Da Nang. Our guide and driver will pick you up at Da Nang Airport or railway station between 06:00 – 13:00 (for arrivals after this time, guests will join the group independently).
Afternoon:
Enjoy lunch featuring local Da Nang specialties, then check in at the hotel.
Proceed to Son Tra Peninsula (Monkey Mountain) – known as the “green lung” of Da Nang and home to rare wildlife such as the red-shanked douc langur. Visit Linh Ung Pagoda, one of the city’s most important spiritual sites, featuring the 65-meter Lady Buddha statue, the tallest in Vietnam, overlooking the East Sea.
Continue to Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a walking tour and shopping visit to:
- Japanese Covered Bridge
- Sa Huynh Culture Museum
- Ancient merchant houses
- Phuc Kien Assembly Hall
- Traditional handicraft workshops
Evening:
Dinner at a local restaurant. Free time to stroll through the lantern-lit Old Town.
Return to Da Nang. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 02: NON NUOC STONE VILLAGE – BA NA HILLS – MY KHE BEACH (B/L/D)
Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, a centuries-old craft village at the foot of Marble Mountains. Admire exquisite stone sculptures such as Buddha statues, Champa artworks, vases, and decorative items handcrafted by skilled artisans.
Continue to Ba Na Hills (Ba Na option at guests’ own expense, Sun Group ticket price). Experience one of the world’s most impressive cable car systems, holder of multiple world records.
Afternoon:
Optional buffet lunch at Ba Na Hills (guests not joining Ba Na will arrange lunch independently).
Explore Ba Na’s highlights: French Village, flower gardens, wine cellar, Linh Ung Pagoda, and the Golden Bridge, famous for its iconic giant hands.
Return to Da Nang and relax at My Khe Beach, consistently ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Evening:
Dinner at a restaurant. Optional Han River night cruise (own expense) to admire Da Nang’s illuminated bridges, including Dragon Bridge (fire & water show on weekends), Han River Bridge, and Tran Thi Ly Bridge.
Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 03: DA NANG – HUE – IMPERIAL CITADEL (B/L/D)
Morning:
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Depart for Hue, the former imperial capital, via the Hai Van Tunnel.
Afternoon:
Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Imperial Citadel, the grand palace complex of the Nguyen Dynasty, followed by Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue’s oldest and most iconic pagoda on the Perfume River.
Evening:
Dinner featuring Hue specialties such as Banh Khoai, Banh Beo, Banh Nam, Banh Loc, Banh Uot, green bean cake, and mixed fig salad.
Optional Hue folk music cruise on the Perfume River with flower lantern release (own expense).
Overnight in Hue.
Day 04: PHONG NHA CAVE OR PARADISE CAVE – HUE (B/L/D)
Morning:
Breakfast. Transfer to Quang Binh Province, with a stop at La Vang Holy Shrine.
Afternoon:
Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Phong Nha Cave, known as the “First Wonder Cave,” featuring underground rivers and magnificent limestone formations, accessed by boat on the Son River.
Alternatively, choose Paradise Cave, the longest dry cave in Asia, exploring its spectacular stalactites via a 1km wooden walkway, often referred to as the “Royal Palace Underground.”
Evening:
Return to Hue. Dinner and overnight in Hue.
Day 05: TU DUC TOMB – TRADITIONAL CRAFT VILLAGES – DEPARTURE (B/L)
Morning:
Visit Tu Duc Mausoleum, one of the most poetic royal tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty, harmoniously blending architecture, lakes, and pine forests.
Continue to traditional villages producing incense sticks and conical hats, famous for their colorful displays and photogenic settings.
Afternoon:
Lunch at a high-standard restaurant designed in royal Hue style.
Free time until transfer to Hue Airport (around 13:30) or Da Nang Airport (17:00 – 24:00) for departure.
