(TITC) – On 12 October, Viet Nam was honors as “Asia’s Leading Culinary Destination” at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia and Oceania Gala Ceremony 2019. This is the first time Vietnamese cuisine has been recognized by a prestigious and world-class award organization. Particularly, Viet Nam also is being voted to be the World’s Leading Culinary Destination.
Viet Nam had diversified and plentiful cuisine with the must-try menu including Pho (rice noodle soup), Bun (rice vermicelli), Nem (spring rolls), Cha Ca (grilled chopped fish), Banh Xeo (rice pancakes), Cafe Trung (egg coffee)...
Cuisine is a quintessence in Vietnamese culture which is imprinted with regional characteristics.

Viet Nam has been a destination for famous cusine experts. Australian Chef Luke Nguyen, British Chef with many popular reality shows Gordon Ramsay, British Chef Jamie Oliver, legendary American cuisine Anthony Bourdain or New Zealand Chef Bobby Chinn... made many reports about Vietnamese cuisine and broadcast on major media channels of the world.
CNN readers voted Viet Nam in the list of 10 best food destinations. Condé Nast Traveler Magazine likened that Vietnamese bread is one of the best street food around the world. Pho (rice noodle soup) was chosen as one of dishes you should eat in your lifetime by the Business Insider Magazine.
