DAY 1 : DA NANG / HOI AN – D'RÔỒNG WEAVING VILLAGE – ĐỈNH QUẾ PEAK (L, D)
Morning
- Departure from Da Nang or Hoi An.
- Upon arrival at D'Rôồng Weaving Village, discover one of the most authentic Cơ Tu communities in Central Vietnam. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the village and gain insight into the daily lives of local people. Highlights include:
- Meeting local artisans and learning about traditional brocade weaving
- Discovering the symbolism of Cơ Tu textile patterns
- Visiting the traditional Gươl communal house
- Exploring local customs and village life
- Lunch at a local restaurant featuring regional mountain specialties.
Afternoon
- Continue to Đỉnh Quế Peak, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Tây Giang.
- Take time to relax and admire the breathtaking mountain scenery before witnessing a magical sunset above the clouds. Highlights:
- Panoramic views of the Trường Sơn mountain range
- Sunset cloud hunting experience
- Photography opportunities in one of Central Vietnam's most scenic locations
Dinner featuring local mountain cuisine.
Overnight at a homestay on Đỉnh Quế Peak.
DAY 2 : ĐỈNH QUẾ PEAK – A VƯƠNG – AUR VILLAGE (B,L,D)
Morning
- Breakfast.
- Wake up before sunrise to witness the spectacular sea of clouds surrounding Đỉnh Quế Peak.
- Breakfast at the homestay.
- Check out and transfer to A Vương Commune, gateway to one of the most remote villages of the Cơ Tu people.
- Begin a trek to Aur Village.
- The trail follows rivers, forest paths, and untouched mountain landscapes.
- Along the route:
- Trek through pristine Trường Sơn forests
- Cross streams and wooden bridges
- Observe local flora and fauna
- Swim in natural pools during the dry season
- Enjoy peaceful scenery far from the tourist crowds
- Picnic Lunch beside a stream in the heart of nature.
Afternoon
- Arrive at Aur Village, often referred to as the “Happy Village” due to its strong sense of community and harmonious lifestyle. Explore:
- Traditional stilt houses
- The Gươl communal house
- Village agricultural practices
- Daily life of the Cơ Tu people
Dinner at the communal house.
- Enjoy a cultural exchange with villagers and elders who share stories about:
- The history of Aur Village
- Traditional customs and beliefs
- The spiritual world of the Cơ Tu people
- Community life in the Trường Sơn Mountains
- Overnight in the communal house or local homestay.
DAY 3 : AUR VILLAGE – A VƯƠNG – DA NANG / HOI AN (B,L)
Morning
- Breakfast with the local community.
- Spend the morning exploring the surroundings of Aur Village and learning more about the sustainable lifestyle of the villagers.
- Begin the return trek to A Vương.
- The walk offers one final opportunity to appreciate the pristine landscapes of the Trường Sơn Mountains.
Lunch upon arrival in A Vương.
Afternoon
- Transfer back to Da Nang or Hoi An.
- Along the journey, enjoy the changing scenery from mountain forests to coastal plains.
- Arrival in Da Nang / Hoi An.
